WORK WITH SARMARIE
Sarmarie is an independent facilitator and educator with more than twenty years of experience working across Eastern philosophy, movement, meditation, breath, deep rest and embodied practice.
Her work has been shaped through years of formal study, teaching and lived experience across Australia and internationally. Rather than working from one modality or method, she draws from a broad body of knowledge and adapts what she brings to the people, environment and intention in front of her.
At the heart of her work is an understanding of two equally important aspects of being human: our capacity for strength and our capacity to soften.
She works with the physical body — developing strength, mobility, awareness and intelligent movement — while also exploring the quieter practices of breath, meditation, restoration and deep rest.
Alongside this sits Eastern philosophy and enquiry: practical conversations around how we live, how we use our energy, how we respond to pressure, how we relate to ourselves and others, and how greater awareness can influence the way we move through everyday life.
What Sarmarie Can Bring
Depending on the setting, her work can include:
Movement, mobility and strength
Breath and pranayama
Meditation
Deep rest and restorative practices
Eastern philosophy
Embodied awareness
Personal leadership and self-enquiry
Energy and attention
Group conversations and facilitated enquiry
Workshops and educational sessions
Private and small-group experiences
Sarmarie can contribute a single session or workshop, facilitate a full-day experience, join a weekend retreat, or work alongside a team across a longer program.
She is equally comfortable stepping into an existing offering or collaborating with hosts and organisations to shape an experience from its early stages.
A Flexible Way of Working
Sarmarie works independently and travels for her work.
This allows her to move between locations and projects and to become part of retreats, events, organisations and programs for the period of time she is needed.
Her work is not confined to one type of person or environment. It can sit within a retreat in nature, a professional organisation, a leadership program, a wellbeing event, an educational setting or an intimate private group.
What remains consistent is the depth of experience she brings and her ability to read an environment, meet people where they are and translate a broad body of knowledge into something grounded, accessible and relevant.
Available for collaborations, retreats, events and organisational programs throughout Australia and internationally.
