The Mini Intensive is a five-session introduction to the deeper work I offer through my full intensive.
Over the five sessions, we begin with the foundations — looking at the health and organisation of the spine, stabilisation muscles, movement patterns, breath, and the relationship between the physical body and the mind.
The work is about learning to understand how and why you are moving, rather than simply moving through shapes. We begin to explore the foundations of asana alongside Eastern philosophy, looking at the patterns we hold physically as well as the patterns we hold within the mind.
The intensive is individual to each person. I work with teachers, experienced practitioners, people beginning or returning to practice, people working with injury or restriction, and those who are simply curious to understand their body and practice at a deeper level.
Across the five sessions, we begin to embody these principles and create small, practical steps towards developing a personal home practice — something you can understand, articulate and continue to work with beyond our time together.
